Digital shift is now the biggest business challenge for all Japanese companies, regardless of their size, industry, or location. Global megatech companies such as GAFA and BATH have emerged as platformers, and all industries are being forced to restructure. In order for Japanese companies and the Japanese economy to achieve further development, it is important to be able to leverage the strengths of the company from a cross-industry perspective and to achieve a change centered on the digital shift in corporate management.

In response to this situation, the Company announced in its “New Digital Shift Strategy” published on February 12, 2020 that it will change its trade name to DIGITAL HOLDINGS, Inc.(* 2) effective July 1, 2020, and provide support in four areas: people, things, money, and information.

The Company hereby announces that DIGITAL SHIFT, Inc. will provide digital shift consulting services, B2B information subscription services, professional staffing services, and financial support services as the first step of the New Digital Shift Strategy.

Noboru Hachimine, who is scheduled to be appointed Chairman of DIGITAL HOLDINGS, Inc., will also be appointed President of DIGITAL SHIFT, Inc.(*3), and will lead the Group in strengthening its digital shift services. At the same time, to strengthen the Company’s digital shift consulting services, Takeshi Isozumi, former Managing Director of Funai Soken Holdings Inc., has been recruited as Director of DIGITAL SHIFT, Inc., and the Company aims to provide services to 100 companies as soon as possible.

The Group will combine the assets of Group companies, including DIGITAL SHIFT, Inc., to guide the transformation through digital shift, and will continue to contribute to the sustained growth of Japanese companies.
