Uncertainty in the global economy, shifts in demographic structures, and the rapid evolution of technology. Amid these turbulent changes, AI in particular is rewriting the “assumptions” across every aspect of industry and daily life. It has become inevitable for companies to redefine their businesses and value propositions and drive transformation.
2025: A Year of Turbulence and Challenges for Digital Holdings
For me personally, 2025 has been an intensely eventful year since I assumed the role of CEO in April, marked by the redesign of the Group’s value structure, business transformation driven by AI, and the successful completion of the tender offer by Hakuhodo DY Holdings. Even amidst this turbulent environment, there are two things that remain unchanged at our core.
The first constant: The unwavering presence of our purpose
The Digital Holdings Group’s purpose is “to drive industrial transformation and solve social issues through the creation of new value.”
This purpose is our very reason for being, and it will never waver, no matter how much the external environment changes. Now, as the power of AI is reshaping the structure of society as a whole, this is the perfect time to maximize the true value of this purpose for society. We will go beyond the boundaries of marketing and advertising to embark on transforming industries themselves.
The second constant: A culture of remaining “Sincere Ambitious Individuals”
The culture we have cherished—the belief that we must “be sincere ambitious individuals.”
We will continue to face facts with sincerity, show respect for our colleagues and society, and take on challenges to create a better future. Now that we have weathered a turbulent year, this mindset holds even deeper significance.

AI is a foundational technology that not only streamlines operations but also brings transformation to corporate business structures, customer value, and the industries themselves. In 2026, we will further accelerate this transformation in the following areas:
