In October 2019, Google Analytics will cease providing its current reports for mobile apps. The replacement tool, Google’s “Firebase” SDK for apps, is experiencing increasing demand, especially for its analytics function.
Firebase facilitates visualization of users’ behavior within apps by capturing a relatively high number of signals (such as terminal information and user behavior since installing the app) compared to other SDKs.
In addition, data acquired through Firebase can not only be used for deep analysis, but also to optimize Google advertisements. For this reason, it is extremely important for any company engaged in mobile app marketing to ensure that Firebase is correctly installed and set up within the app.
OPT has considered Firebase as a tool for mobile app marketing since 2016, and has investigated, introduced, and utilized it with a focus on the app data management tool “Spin App.” Utilizing its experience and expertise in Firebase, OPT will provide support for the introduction of Google’s “Firebase” SDK app analytics.
