President and CEO Shigeru Saito of SIGNATE will be taking the podium during the “AI × Human Resources Development” session of the “Applied AI Summit (referred to as “AI/SUM” below), Japan’s largest global AI conference to be held between April 22nd (Monday) and 24th (Wednesday), 2019.

Shigeru Saito administers SIGNATE, the largest AI developer human resource network in Japan, which offers support services for the fostering and hiring of personnel specializing in the development and operation of AI. Simultaneously held posts specializing in AI education and research at the University of Tsukuba (C-AIR) as a visiting professor, at the RIKEN, Japan Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP) as a visiting researcher, and at the National Cancer Center Research Institute as a visiting researcher. Engages in public activities related to the fostering of AI human resources. Was a lecturer for the first Human Resource Development Promotion Council for the Japanese government’s Council on Investments for the Future, Fourth Industrial Revolution. Human Resource Development Section lecturer for the Second Growth Strategy of the Headquarters for the Revitalization of Education of the Liberal Democratic Party of JAPAN.
