OPT Ventures, Inc. (CEO Atsushi Nouchi) has invested in the company Sider (CEO Koichiro Sumi), which provides a “Sider” code review service standing in Japan for engineers as the first project of Fund #2.

■The SaaS (software as a service) “Sider” is provided for corporations in order to support the code review tasks of developers.
■Sider is used by everything from venture companies to major corporations, and provides value by reducing the numbers of hours required for code review by engineers, while also having an effect in raising the floor of overall team knowledge by sharing project-specific rules and experience throughout the team and incorporating the entire engineering team’s experiences and knowledge into the code review process. Sider provides SaaS by linking with effects with the most popular source code hosting service GitHub and the CI tool for operation verification.

■Sider has started international marketing, and not only do we already have registered users in over a hundred countries and Japan, we are aiming at achieving the number one product in the industry, including international markets.
