SIGNATE Inc., which provides human resource hiring and training services for AI developers and data scientists (main office in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, President & CEO Shigeru Saito), is collaborating with the Mitou Foundation by starting open recruitment on the “AI Frontier Program” (referred to as the “program” below) as a part of the “Investigation regarding Efficient and Effective Implementation of Technology Development in AI Chip and Next-Generation Computing Fields” (referred to as the “project” below), through a commission from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

This program will use open recruitment and other means to discover young human resources with the creative ideas and technology necessary to create innovations that take advantage of AI technology, along with the excellent skills necessary to utilize the same. In addition to providing the resources to develop practical skills in the field of AI, the program will provide advice regarding technology, management, and other subjects, while supporting research and development by accompanying participants and fostering prominent human resources.

Also note that the human resources recruited by this program are expected to include young company engineers, graduate students, college students, technical college students, and others, mostly in technical fields, and are expected to be able to produce new innovations in both hardware and software by effectively utilizing AI through artificial intelligence mechanisms such as machine learning and deep machine learning, for the purpose of automatic driving, factory automation, robot control, and so on.
