[Announcement] OPT Certified as an Okinawa Prefecture Work-Life Balance Company

The Okinawa Coral Office and Okinawa Coral Creative Office of OPT, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Daisuke Kanazawa; hereinafter “OPT”) have been certified as an “Okinawa Prefecture Work-Life Balance Company.”

 

The Okinawa Prefecture Work-Life Balance Company Certification System is run by Okinawa Prefecture to certify and register companies that proactively seek balance between work and life; for example, by introducing working conditions that take into account different lifestyles and working hours of individual workers, in order to increase productivity and enable the hiring of talented human resources.

 

OPT’s Okinawa Coral Office and Okinawa Coral Creative Office that were certified under this system have introduced measures such as an “hourly paid leave” system that enables workers to take off time in 2-hour units, and a “teleworking system” that allows work outside the office. These flexible working practices, as well as 100% take-up rate for parental leave among female employees, have been highly rated. (A total of 81 companies have been certified.)

 

The measures introduced by the OPT Okinawa Coral Office and Okinawa Coral Creative Office to promote work-life balance are as follows.

 

・Parental leave system

・Caregiving leave system

・Short-time work system

・Annual paid leave system (can be taken in 2-hour units)

・Long-time service leave (re-motivation leave) system
