[Digital Support] Launch of Linkage between OPT’s “Spin App” App Data Management Tool and the “Repro” Analysis and Marketing Tool for Mobile Apps

Enables Ad Distribution Leveraging In-App User Behavior and Attribute Data

Linkage has been launched between the “Spin App” (*1) app data management tool provided by OPT, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Daisuke Kanazawa; hereinafter “OPT”) and the “Repro” (*2) analysis and marketing tool for mobile apps provided by Repro Co. Ltd. (Head Office: Shibuya Ward, Tokyo; CEO: Yusuke Hirata; hereinafter “Repro”).

“Spin App” is an application-specific DMP that can store app download user data acquired with a tracking SDK and leverage the data for advertisement distribution. “Spin App” has strengthened support for optimization from the perspective of advertising measures, such as by implementing a reporting function for the emerging Apple Search Ads media (*3).

This linkage will now also make it possible to perform marketing strategy planning and execution based on user experience. Specifically, more accurate retargeting and look-alike targeting advertisements can be distributed based on the advertising inflow source data stored by the “Spin App” and the in-app user behavior and attribute data stored by “Repro.”

Further, audience data created through integration can be applied to retention measures, such as pushing notifications to dormant users from “Repro” or distributing in-app messages according to the target segment.

OPT will continue to support corporate marketing by supporting advertising and in-app marketing measures that leverage user data from apps, as well as enhancing expanded functions that look toward the integration and utilization of such data with website visitor user data.

*2 “Repro” is an analysis and marketing tool that has been deployed in more than 5,000 apps in 59 countries (as of May 2018). The quantitative analysis functions such as retention analysis and funnel analysis can be used to identify user retention rates and actions to encourage retention, and the disengagement points. The video-based qualitative analysis function reproduces the in-app behavior of the user with a video. This enables hypotheses about the reason for disengagement to be verified, which can lead to UI and UX improvements.
Push notifications and in-app messages can also be distributed based on these analysis results.
