[Digital Support] After Establishing Omnichannel Innovation Center, OPT Accelerates Digital Shift Support for the Retail Industry by Launching O2O Marketing Workshop with Sendenkaigi Marketing Research Lab

The Omnichannel Innovation Center (*) of OPT Inc. (head office in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, President & CEO Daisuke Kanazawa, referred to as “OPT” below) is partnering with the Marketing Research Lab of Sendenkaigi Co., Ltd. (head office in Minato Ward, Tokyo, President & CEO Hideya Azuma, referred to as “Sendenkaigi” below) by launching the O2O Marketing Workshop in order to support the digital shift of the retail industry.

As the current digital environment evolves, the consumption behavior of ordinary people is growing increasingly diverse and individualized. In order to respond to these changes in the market environment, corporate marketing activities must be optimized for each individual, with a high level of real-time responsiveness and bidirectionality in communication. Sales promotion activities by retail store businesses play a major role, as even brick-and-mortar business owners have turned their attention to digital sales promotion strategies to encourage customers to visit stores, as a means of replacing the previously dominant insert advertising and direct mail.

The Research Lab also welcomes the participation of corporate marketers, and while focusing on the digital shift of sales promotion in terms of shop visits and purchasing, not only debates approaches, but also covers topics such as key points in the area of internal corporate adjustment for the promotion of a digital shift, while working to support the retail industry’s digital shift by providing the knowledge and information obtained throughout this process.

OPT will continue to create new value for the success of omnichannel strategies by designing and executing overall systems for supporting the shift to omnichannel by companies, and building highly convenient purchasing systems.
