SIGNATE Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shigeru Saito), a provider of AI development and data scientist human resource recruitment and development services, was awarded a “Prize for Innovation” for its “SIGNATE” data science competition website (https://signate.jp) at the “3rd HR Technology Awards,” which is supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

The “HR Technology Awards” are supported by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, TOYO KEIZAI INC., Business Publishing Inc., HR Technology Consortium (LeBAC), and ProFuture Inc.. These awards are held to recognize excellence in the fields of HR technology and HR big data (analytics) in Japan and to contribute to their development. Based on application documents from companies or organizations that are active in Japan, prizes are awarded through a comprehensive judgment process that follows evaluation criteria for technological capabilities, innovation and productivity improvements.

At “The 3rd HR Technology Awards,” SIGNATE was highly evaluated for holding separate competitions for themes such as AI development and data analysis, which enabled high-quality AI models to be procured that were specialized for solving unique issues at the company. SIGNATE was also commended for recruiting and developing data scientists who are usually hard to find, particularly in disseminating the concept of rare “ability sharing,” and promoting activities for AI and big data utilization.
