OPT’s Omnichannel Innovation Center has expanded the functions of the “TSUNAGARU” LINE Business Connect distribution tool as a part of its efforts to strengthen O2O marketing that uses LINE.

The following solutions are customized for the needs of each company and provided as services.

・LINE Beacon
Push messages such as coupons can be sent via LINE to users who are near to Beacon devices installed at stores or event spaces.
Push messages can be used to promote sales to users who are already in a store, or to distribute messages to users to promote repeat store visits based on the acquired user information.
 
・Membership Cards
A barcode that functions as a membership card can be displayed within the company’s LINE account. A new card can be issued to customers who are friends with the company on LINE, or it can be used to cross check the information or name of a card that has already been issued at a store.
A future update is planned to enable membership cards to be stored in “LINE Wallet.”

・Instant Win
A package for sales or trial promotion that provides an easy process via LINE from application to lottery drawing.
A sales campaign like a lottery scratchcard can be conducted within a LINE talk room, and the winning ratio and upper limit for number of winners can be controlled.

・Mileage
The user can scan QR codes issued at a store to save points in a mileage-type program in a LINE account.
A package is provided for the whole process, from store visit and repeat visit promotion to promotion of multiple product purchases.

In this service, LINE Corporation provides various account functions for businesses via an API, which each company can customize for itself. Using “LINE Business Connect” not only enables one-way message distribution to LINE users like with conventional LINE Official Accounts, but also enables separate, optimized messages to be sent to specific users. Furthermore, after receiving permission from users, the company’s existing database or own system can be linked to the LINE Official Account, which enables the application to be used as a Customer Relations Management (CRM) tool or business solutions tool that goes beyond the boundaries of a mere message distribution tool.
